Chioma Nweze
Barrister (Mrs.) Chioma Nweze is a distinguished Nigerian lawyer and public servant, currently serving as the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement for the South East region. In this capacity, she is dedicated to fostering awareness and driving positive change within communities across the South East.
Prior to her current role, Mrs. Nweze was the Commissioner for Trade and Investment in Ebonyi State under the administration of Governor Dave Umahi, who now serves as the Minister of Works. Her tenure as commissioner was marked by significant contributions to the state’s economic development and investment initiatives.
In her role as Senior Special Assistant, Mrs. Nweze has launched initiatives such as the South East Citizens Assembly, aimed at bringing the presidency closer to grassroots communities. For instance, she recently engaged with students and faculty at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), to promote community involvement and address regional challenges.
